Google ROI and emarketing

Good short article on where to start, before analytics.  If follows very closely the process I use in my eMarketing Presentation:

Google ROI

1. Strategy = lead generation

2. Objectives = More qualfied leads

3. How to? = Narrow focus to qualified leads /increase conversions

4. Measure = measure actionable goals

What goes unmentioned is “Respond”.  And for us that’s about responding via: eMarketing (qualifying traffic), usability (make it easier for visitors to convert themselves), Persuasion = copy and design (persuading visitors to take the conversion steps).
