The Secret of Action and Networking Day (The SAND) is based on a concept of utilising The Secret in a business context. We developed an engaging online presence that appeals to a corporate audience while paying close attention to creating opportunities for the group.

We created a highly search engine visible site for them including event ticket sales, blog, eMarketing campaign with integration into Sugar CRM.

The client required an open-source CMS and Sugar CRM integration ensured that captures leads and enters them automatically into their Sugar database without double handling. Event promotion and third party sales integration assisted in the success of this world first event.

The SAND (Secret of Action & Networking Days) introduced a revolutionary way of opening unlimited opportunities to business based on the principles of the World best selling book "The Secret". The site had to be unique but not too far from the business culture that would be accessing it and referencing the site.


Results

The final result was one of the quickest and polished results we have had for a site built in 9 days. The reason for the short deadline was that within 6 weeks of the idea being conceptualised by Paul Lange, a number of global events had been set up and international representatives put in place. The website had to go live for media opportunities to be met in Europe.

In co-operation with representative from the United Kingdom, United States, Russia, Denmark and local representatives here in Australia the site ranked and delivered sell out ticket sales in a very short time.  

The results have been impressive:

  • Ranking very highly in Google and MSN under The Secret and SAND within 4 weeks of launch
  • Globally located representatives had access to easily update the information relative to their specific locations under specific roles and permissions
  • Sold out of the majority of each Australian date within weeks of promotion via the eCommerce section of the site
  • The built in blog received a huge amount of hits and interaction that promoted the concept at a grass roots level
  • The integrated lead capture with Sugar CRM eliminated double-handling and organised contacts and allowed real-time up to date marketing to take place
  • Custom eMarketing campaign delivered great open (51%) and click thru rates (72%).
